Golf
"If you watch a game, it's fun. If you play at it, it's recreation. If you work at it, it's golf." - Bob Hope

Hanover Country Club offers one of North Richmond's finest golf courses and country club settings. Redesigned by Tom Clark, our 6,700-yard par 71 course offers challenging play amidst some of the most scenic landscapes Hanover County has to offer. Meandering through the foothills alongside the South Anna River and Stagg Creek, the Hanover Country Club golf course appeals to both competitive golfers playing the course at its full yardage, and allows the casual golfer to enjoy its natural undulations, natural wildlife while putting on true and fast greens.

Following a 2009 full course renovation and expert upkeep by our greens keeping team, you’ll experience Riviera grass fairways and lush A-1, A-4 bent grass greens in excellent condition year round. Our new renovated driving range and short- and long-game practice facilities enable our members to work on their golf game under the watchful eye of our club professionals.

The professional staff offer many fun golfing events during the year encouraging participation from our senior, men and women golfers. Structured play is organized through our golf associations and our pro shop staff will assist you in finding a partner/group to play golf with. PGA instruction is available for our members along with PGA club fitting.

Hanover Country Club is expanding and improving our junior golf program. Our goal is to instill passion, appreciation, and understanding of a lifetime sport that teaches many important life lessons but most importantly fun.
